I was really getting tired of having to update things manually and the automated solutions I was using were driving me crazy. I finally found a solution, which required a massive clean-up.
If your looking for the daily celebrity news and gossip, interesting movie or television new, or geeky gaming madness, then I think it’s pretty clear where to go.
I’m going to use this space as a portal to the Scribe Network still, but I also plan to post more on how I build this whole thing myself in 30 days without ever having seen WordPress before. If there something specific you want to know, then comment here.

You might notice over at Flickscribe.com a new contest that will be running all month for a 1984 Transformers #1 comic.
I spent the weekend prepping for the contest, upgrading the rankings that posters are given (see the titles and the icons?), adding more bookmarks coding, adding Digg specific code to posts, changing the layouts at the bottom of each post, and setting the sites up to have sticky news postings and sticky contest postings. I’m very happy with the outcome.
News will stay up for 2 days and contests will show for 30 days.
I also upgraded to WordPress 2.2.1 for all sites and backed up all of my data. It was a busy weekend.

After some serious downtime with my other blog, I decided that I wanted to try some different software and approach things from a different angle.
To the end, (and being a web guy) I decided I needed full control over certain things and thus…created this mini-network. Keep watching and reading, bookmark your favorite stuff. It’s only going to get better.
